Never Forget

Cold, and heartless was he ... He knew I trusted him, and he let me down.

After the first time you never forget, the pain he caused, the burden you bear.  The memories are too painful, and the tears only keep falling.  Curled up in the corner, trying to forget the pain, what he did, how he hurt you.  He used to be your friend, he used to be so close, and now he’s far away, he cut you too deep.  He took advantage, of what you were, he betrayed you so, and now you are no more.  You couldn’t live with the pain anymore; you couldn’t bear the memories any longer.  You ended it all, you finished the pain, and now you’re gone.  He broke your heart, and then he killed it too, he caused you all this pain, and now he is the one to blame.  Though none will ever know, for you never told a soul, you only died in vein, or so they all believe.  But he knows, he’s sure, though he feels no sorrow, no remorse, no pain.  He acts as if untouched, and thus he really is, the death of you, means nothing more, than just a couple words.
