HurtA Poem by Nae NaeEveryone see's the world in different ways, but in one way or another every view is similar. We all see pain, agony, and a lot of irony. This is just my point of view, one way to see the world.
Hurt I’ve been hurt once; I’ve been hurt a million times. A broken heart, a troubled mind. I know it hurts every time, but no one sees only I. I’m tired of hurt, I’m tired of pain, But what can I do the world stays the same. I’m trapped in this place, that people call life, That people call great, that people call the rat race. But how can people call this life, it’s more like a nightmare, It’s a gay man with a wife. And no it’s not great, actually it stinks, it’s just like a chain, will old rusty links. A rat race it is, we all fight for the top, but for me it’s more than that, I don’t want a lot. I just want to be me, but maybe a bit more, seen by others, and not shoved out the door. But that’s only a dream, and thus goes undone, for dreams don’t come true, not for any one. In fairy tales yes, Cinderella and the ball, snow white and prince charming those making it into the hall. A nightmare, a rusty chain, a rat race no more, thus when I’m gone, no one will mourn. For really in life, or a nightmare alike, I only suffer, or maybe it’s spite. Maybe others suffer, just as I do, but I have eyes, and I see the truth. That life isn’t great, or grand, or fantastic, but rather a struggle, in which to live u must be a fanatic.© 2009 Nae NaeAuthor's Note
