Sew your heart

Sew your heart

A Poem by Mr Good

Here we are

Both tired beside one another

Figuring out

What happened to the fire we lit

How illuminated our world was

Brighter than sun

Were our happiness

With your smile;

Wider than flowing Nile

Yet like Moses I tore it apart

Bled your innocent heart

Lemme sew it alas

All my silly doings have last

Waiting to fill your jug

With bliss and spark

Lit my world with you

Just take my hand

Here we start again

Here we are

Lovely words to rekindle the flame. Gorgeous poetry.
