BelieversA Poem by simonFeeling the power he held out his hands, It was time to make mans final stand. Pushing aside the weak and the feeble, He directed his hate through the eye of a needle. Ringing ears remembering the fable, Still unsure if his faith would be able. Leaving this world, transcending to heaven, The only dream of a believer aged seven. His family despairing wearing their pain, If they believed, they would meet once again. © 2013 simon |
