.. the latter days of the harvest ..

A time to gather
the last fruits of the garden,

There is something so golden, so warming about an Indian summer. The season being stretched like elastic to last that much longer and to have the effect of a shorter winter. You reminded me of school and harvest festival. We all took produce to school which was distributed to needy people. One of my favourite hymns, 'we plough the fields abd scatter the good seed on the land'. Thank you for taking me back on time and rewarding me withoveky memories. Thank you Watercress.

This was an enjoyable read. And reminded me of the times I spent with my grandmother in the garden she had. Thank you for sharing this poem.

Splendid. Your garden blooms with fitting words and spirit. :)
