Holding

Holding

A Poem by Princess

The warmest weather is just a breeze
You lose hold of everything you ever see.
You don't know why but you try hard
And time passes but you lose your guard.
You wonder why but don't try to find it
Only sit back and wonder how you got so hard-hit.
You smile when deep inside you frown
It's no wonder why sometimes you drown.

Time passes and it doesn't slow
You keep on trying with nowhere to go
When you reach it then it's barely success
What you wanted was actually the best of the best
You laugh and you cry when really you're scared
You'd tell everyone if only they'd care
Half broken and fixed, you only move on
But somehow keep smiling when everything's gone.

This is very good, a lot of emotion and really good choice in words. I think this is one of my favorites that I have read today. Great job.
