If I Could Make A Difference

If I Could Make A Difference

A Poem by Princess

The tears in some eyes

The cloudiest skies

Wondering why

Do so many die?

If I could make a difference

I'd change the entire world

I'd try to stop the fighting

I'd unravel what is curled.

The laughs in the voices

There are so many choices

To choose between right

and why it could be so wrong.

The hurt of a child

A mind running wild

A house perfectly tiled

But still an Earth that's un-filed.

If I could make a difference

I'd change the entire world

I'd try to stop the fighting

I'd unravel what is curled

The wonder in a mind

How they could be so unkind

Perhaps the day that my world finds

a change we wont feel so blind

The hate in a killer

His shotgun is his thriller

While children get much iller

we stop turning all those thriller's

If I could make a difference

I'd change the entire world

I'd try to stop the fighting

I'd unravel what was curled.

I enjoy the message in this poem. Though I think that you could have focused less on trying to rhyme and more on good word choice. I like how you chose to repeat one particular portion of the poem, that added a lot in a way. Great job.
