"My Baby Boy"

"My Baby Boy"

A Poem by Valorie J. Shearer
"

This is my pride and joy.. yes a cat is my pride and joy.. LOL!

"

S ebastian is so fluffy, and white like a tiny bed of fresh fallen snow.

E legant, regal, and so sophisticated is he because he is from Persia don't you know.

B lue eyes the color of the bluest sky or the water in some faraway land or island!

A morous, and at times a tad of an a*s..  can be picky or just plain poopy!

S illy, somewhat of a contortionist, he lays on his back twisting one way to another!

T horoughly a Flame point Persian in attitude, and behavior.  He is from Purrrrrrrrrrsia!

I n the night laying on my shoulder,  or over my head,  furry little paws over my eyes.

A lways has been all tail, looked like a little Christmas tree when he was a baby!

N ever again will I give him a lion cut..  last time, he stayed in the bathtub for an entire week, only to come out and eat..  he would just scowl at me because he is from Purrrrrrrrrrsia, don't you know!  He was soooooo insulted, and humiliated!  ..

Nice acrostic dedication, in its way a whimsical write, fun in its creativity, showing how our pets have ways and personalitys that are a bit cartoonish at times,
A poem about your fluffy, sounds humorous, I like the feeling you imparted into

the words with a sense of craftiness, the fluffy ambience is pillowy, delightful
in capturing, but did he learn a poor little lesson, all together comical, because
he is from purrrrrsia, thats classic. The metaphors were nice as well, great job.
Take Care, Mike

Now........Thats funny. I can see the contempt in his eyes. Why are there wide gaps between the letters of some of your words?

A very cute, very funny tribute to your cat! I loved how you used the letters of his name to tell about his personality. He must really be a funny kitty to live with! I especially like how he is from *Purrrrsia*, lol! :) Congrats on winning 3rd place!
