Althea, you might be right about the punctuation ... with a piece like this, might be entirely superfluous.

Everything is connected to everything else. I like the antithesis of "Gather Ye Rosebuds While ye May...". The religious and folk imagery is stunning. I might get rid of the dashes, it's too modern. Heck, why not throw out all punctuation in general. Words are above grammar--something like that.
