Mountaintop Praise

Mountaintop Praise

A Poem by Thanatos Darkraven

Speak forth, O ye rocks

You who slice the air with thy jagged teeth

Speak forth and sing

Sing thy Maker's raise with the voice of the wind

Ask mankind, O ye stones

Ask who can create thy majesty

Who is ther among men

That can raise thee from thy earthen bed?

Ask those at thy feet

Can they shave thy white haired head?

Defy the nations thy passage!

For who can withstand thy cold wrath?

Show forth thy beauty

For who can carve out thy features?

But forget not

That you did not raise thyself

Speak forth, O ye rocks

Sing the praises of thy King!
