One Wish

If you had one wish, what would it be?

Would you wish for riches and wealth?

Or would you wish for silver and gold?

Would you want to be famous and well-known?

Or would you wish to be a nobody?

Or perhaps, would you want to know my wish?

I'm no genie, but that's one wish I can grant.

I would wish that we never met.

I would wish that I had never found you.

I would wish that you never came into my life.

I know you don't understand this wish,

So allow me to explain my bizarre wish.

If we never met, I couldn't fall in love with you.

If I had never found you,

Then I wouldn't run the risk of hurting you.

If you never came into my life,

Then I wouldn't be caught on you.

Now do you see the sanity of my mad wish?

So if you had one wish, what would it be.....?
