Silver Thread

Silver Thread

A Poem by argentum lumen

The barriers awaken from slumber,

And silver mist reappears.

Chains are broken,

Our thread is cut,

By a silver vine.

Tears from this end,

Are bittersweet wine,

The end of a lullabye.

All ties that bind are erased.

Now you can be replaced.

I like the minimalism, you are able to say a lot in few words, it's always nice to see the word 'silver' as the main piece of a poem. The 3rd stanza makes this poem for me.
