i lay still

A Poem by J.F.Viramontes
"

this poem is about how if you stand still pretend evrythings ok your life gos no were that you want it to be

"

lay still... i feel the wind... i hear the sounds of the past and all of my lies wich block my path,

i lay still... i feel the wind... i see your eyes they still mezmerize traping me in there beauty again i fall,

i lay still... i feel the wind... the grass grows hides me frome view im safe im warm is this my true home,

i lay still... i feel the wind... i hear the voice but i ignore it and stay hidin in my lost world,

i lay still... i feel the wind... you tuch my lips a tear grows but fades down as it freezis on my cheek,

i lay still... i feel the wind... my body turns cold my lungs give out my heart stops my eyes grow old,

i lay still....... but no longer feel the wind i tryd so long and now with out a doubt i am alone,

and again.... and.... 4ever.... regretfully.................... i lay still
