Another LevelA Poem by Justin TobeyJust some thoughts I had about the universe... :)How small we are. How BIG we are. Galaxies beneath our skin, skin all around, blood pulsing. The Milky Way rushing, diamond blood, the stars and lifetimes. Tears shed, rain falling, lost love and lives lost. Love that never could be, worlds that never should have been, ending in protons, photons, electrons. Yet universes live on, shrinking while growing, persevering. Always, another level to destroy. Always, another level survives. Nothing is true but the spin of the Wheel, landing us flat on our faces. Faces gone, faces coming. ALWAYS, another level. © 2010 Justin TobeyAuthor's Note
