InvocationA Poem by Justin TobeyInspired by "Witches' Rune" by SJ Tucker.Swirling mist and starlight's breath, Field of dark abyss's birth. Cast your eyes to sundown's death As night's swift fall engulfs the earth.
Tread the rim, the worlds are near, The veil slides back with chanted song. The circle forms, dispelling fear As Witches watch the nighttime long.
Arise ye forces of the earth, Of water, fire, flowing air! Complete the dance of death's rebirth, The sacrifice that's ours to bear.
Maiden, mother, crone, and hag, Goddess bright of Earth and Moon. Bless us, lover of the stag, As to the world do we attune.
Hunter, father, dead and born, God of forest, sky, and sun. Horned one of the winter morn, Teach us as the deer to run.
Curents of the timeless flow, Pulsing winds of spirit's spark. Fill this place with your bright glow To fill the void and end the dark. © 2009 Justin TobeyAuthor's Note
