DawnA Poem by Justin TobeyThis is a little piece born of the eternal boredom of Lit. :)The shadows twist, the mountains roar and nature comes undone. The worlds collide in smoke and mist with fire from the sun.
The doorways open, spilling light from halls of starlight realms. And gates of Hell unleash their flames as demons don their helms.
All windows fling their shudders wide in whirls of light and sound. The heavens' swords and spears of gold rain down upon the ground.
The silver horns announce the fight as armies meet on Earth. The forces of the night and day prevent the Dawn's rebirth.
The battle rages on and on upon horizon's streak until the chasm opens wide, dividing armies weak.
Eternally the war goes on at sunrise and sunset. 'Til Time's undoing, wreathed in flame comes in to pay our debt. © 2008 Justin TobeyAuthor's Note
