The Wheel TurnsA Poem by Justin TobeyThis is a little premature, but...The song, so soft, reborn at last, comes drifting through the Earth. An icy chill as Old as Time, the dark moon's dark rebirth.
The wind and rain come falling down and drape the world in grey. The skies resound with thunder-cracks as ever gales doth sway.
The piercing rays of summer's light diminish, fade, and cease, and from the depth of winter's hold the dark of night holds peace.
A mystic veil of twilight's weave pervades the light of day, enticing mists to sigh and dance in rivulets of spray.
At long, long last the time arrives, the lunar months of Yule. The solstice brings its ancient Sight, the silver, shining jewel. © 2008 Justin TobeyAuthor's Note
