![]() In the SkyA Poem by Justin Tobey![]() A poem showing the different phases of light that travel across the sky.![]() In the dark of silent night, Stars are shining, full and bright. Crescent moon of silver hue, Coats the sea of darkest blue.
In the glow of morning light, Birds are chirping, wings in flight. Apple tree atop the mound, Whispers secret, ancient sounds.
In the highest, brightest noon, Clouds are drifting, parting soon. Radiant beams from up above, Dazzle us with pure, sweet love.
In the fading light of eve, Night completes its shadow-weave. Sunlight of the purest kind, Falls from universal mind.
In the dark of silent night, Stars are shining full and bright. Swirling mists of mystery, Spin and dance to what they please. © 2008 Justin TobeyAuthor's Note
