creates a mood...starts out in a nature kind of way...but toward the end we do get that edge of darkness to it...and it gets darker---reminds me of Batman and how Gotham was unsure at first if he was good or evil...there is a fine line...and the night can cover both.

i had positive thoughts, really...as to the brevity of lines and the stark imagery...liked both---un.. read morei had positive thoughts, really...as to the brevity of lines and the stark imagery...liked both---unless i see something that really negatively jumps out at me...i usually just try to identify with works in my own way---i feel that is what poetry is for the reader...but no...you have said it quite well, as i see it.
I like your use of words, they create nice pictures of the night. If I hadn't read your description, I wouldn't have guessed it's about a comic character, but maybe about something more natural and simple to think of like a bird, for example. Nonetheless, it's a splendid piece of darkness.
