[untitled]A Poem by Amelia Angeleuh just..random.. No se.You see green grass I see crowds - in great mass. Do you think, someday, I could be like you; And see things the way your eyes do? To see fields with flowers, Cleans skies and wildlife. Instead I am stuck here with strife. I would shed this ugly human skin and give up my life as a tin. I would float in the air. Where the sun is so fair. All that I see, Is colourful now, And so free. Won't you let me join your merry spree? We can sing with the birds And graze with herds. I would do anything just to hear your words. Soft spoken and light as a leaf. You berid me of endless grief. Yours songs, they, harmonize with the flying flock. Now, I wish for you to take my heart. There is no need for a lock. I know you will keep it safe, Even when it comes time for us to part. © 2009 Amelia Angel |
