Selling their names for gain.

Their ears only hearing the clink-clink,

Of gold falling like rain.

 

Stepping on heads of less fortunate,

Uncaring as long as they get what they want.

Cruel, careless of fate of less fortunate;

Caring only  of gaining what they want.

 

Scheming ways to fix the game,

Wanting more power over everyone.

Euphoric victory, rush gone as soon as it came;

Every win, a step closer to being the One.
