I do Not Understand

I do not understand

Why people have to pick on the weak link of the class

Why money equals popularity amongst peers

Why it is always right to do wrongs in school

 

But most of all

I do not understand

Why the weak link gets in trouble for finally standing up for

Themselves, after years and years of emotional and physical

Abuse, and the culprit of the abuse is left free to torment

The weak for another day

 

What I understand most

Is why the weak link cries themselves to sleep every night

And why they think it is better to lie, and say nothing is Happening

How it feels to have no one understand and to feel that the

only option is to face the abuser, Though they know it is wrong to fight.

I completly agree with you, I think one of my poems for school was like that one, not 100% sure about it. But I know that i totalt agree with you and what you state in it because it is all true.
