Silence Must Be Heard

A sense poem is one of those random poem formats that english teachers give you to frustrate you. But they can be fun too.

Death

I see his cadaverous hands clutching ragged robes

It Tastes Like life is slipping through my parched mouth

I smell the blood and decay

The sound of his raspy breath mimics mine as I fade

I feel nothing anymore but the art of decay

Death

Agreed. They can be fun.
In the terms of technicality, it's perfectly written.
In the terms of emotion, its written well.
In the terms of imagery, I personally like it, but it does leave a lot to the imagination, which is good or bad, depending on the reader.

Thank you, I'm glad that I am able to create a vivid enough image in peoples minds. In my opinion, art isn't art unless it gets an emotional responce, doesn't matter what type, just someone was effected.

That was frightening. It almost gave me the shivers as my mind conjured the imagery you painted. Nice piece.

Great work. Yeah I know what you mean by frustrating style but this is really well done. Gives a very realistic impression of what happens when you give in to death - I think. Might have to let you know later on that issue.
