chapter 1 (unfinished)

Ten years pass almost in a flash one-decade and I'm already close to my goal I have a thriving circus harboring those touched by demons. They’re all happy were like a family we helping each other grow up more. I know soon I must go and let Katelyn take over for a few years there is a darkness massing and I must stop it but I worry for them as if there my children must I teach them to fight or keep them ignorant. I must chose so much at stake so little time what must I do what must I do with my sweet children I have so heart fully adopted.

 

 

Chapter 1

 

 BERLIN GERMANY

 

 I walk out onto center ring into the hot white spotlight, taking a deep breath I allow my voice to boom across the big top first for silence then my intro.

  WELCOME LADYS AND GENTLEMEN TO THE DEVILS CIRCUS THE BEST CIRCUS IN ALL OF EUROPE.  OUR SHOW WILL NOT DISAPOINT YOU LADYS AND GENTLEMENN OUR ACTS STUN YOU UNTILL THE VERY END NOW MAY I INTRODUCE OUR OPENING ACT ETHAN CARBREY THE STRONG MAN!

‘Best of luck my friend’ I whisper into his ear

   His friendly grunt was his only response

I watch from the sidelines of the ring as his act begins

His first act he lifts a barbell of huge proportions 250 pounds above his head single handedly.  For the next phase a dangerous but exciting one he took the barbell and threw it into the air, up up up into the air barely brushing the top of the tent it was so high then he moved to the right a little transfixed the crowd watched and waiting for him to catch it was half way fallen back to him now no one in the crowd spoke no one even breathed Ethan reached out and with some effort stopped it with the opposite hand he threw it with.

All at once the crowed released there breath and stood up and cheered loudly and jubilantly.

   I step back into my spot and once agin boomed my voice across the crowd

  GIVE IT UP FOR OUR OPENING ACT EXCITEING NO? BUT HE WAS JUST OUR TASTE TO YOU JUST ONE SHOW JUST ONE MAN BUT WE HAVE MORE TO SHOW MORE TO OFFER MY FRIENDS. WE HAVE A MAGIC MAN NO A MAGIC CLOWN ONE FROM YOUR OWN STOCK AND COUNTRY PLEASE WELCOME THE TRICKSTER

Wolfgang!

  Wolfgang standing just outa sight of the crowed took a big swing of his liquor and walks out onto the ring bows to the crowd and lets a who deck of cards lose they fly

seemingly magical out his sleeves and all about and the crowd gasps all of the cards are joker cards smiling jesters all looking like there caster themselves I retire to my corner again. 

in his thick German accent Wolfgang speaks slowly but loud as me 

welcome circus goers of berlin this fabulous city

are we all set? Got your drinks? you will not want to miss one bit of this don’t blink!

  He quickly snaps his finger causing green and yellow sparks to shoot from the snapping fingers.

   You might miss it.  Now may I have one of you classy gentlemen with a pocket watch bring it down here for our next show

  a young rather gangly gentleman brought down his old silver pocket watch before handing it to Wolfgang he leans and says make sure I get it back it’s a priceless family treasure oh it will come back to you no fears my friend

  OK LADYS AND GENTLEMEN CAN EVERYONE SEE THIS YOUNG MANS WATCH SEE IT NOW AS A WHOLE NO BREAKS AND DAMAGES NOW WATCH AS I DO THIS

  then throws it onto the ground and smashes it with the heel of his shoe and picks up the pieces one by one and blows into his hand and the pieces came butterflies flying away in the wind the young gentlemen turns on Wolfgang and begins to rant at him

 HOW DARE YOU BREAK MY POCKET WATCH THAT WAS PRICELESS FAMILY TREASURE I TOLD YOU NOT TO BREAK IT YOU WILL PAIN SEVERLY FOR THIS

  During his rant Wolfgang simply smiled as the pocket watch appeared at the mans waist band he pointed to it and smirked

 If I broke it what is that?

  The man looks down at his waist band as the crowed burst into laughter at the man and applause for the magic trick ALRIGHT LADYS AND GENTLEMEN WASN’T THAT SIMPLY AMAZEING he claps his hands and Ethan brought out a big black box and set it upright groans and whispers erupted from the crowed as they realized what the box really was YES LADYS AND GENTLEMEN IT SI THE GRUSOME THE VULGAR THE PAINFUL IRON MADIEN Ethan shortly after setting it up completely upright brought a cylindrical container of long sharp spikes  YES MY FRIENDS THIS NEXT ACT IS VERY DANGEROUS NEVER TRY THIS AT HOME NOW I WILL BEGIN BY SHOWING YOU DOUBTERS IN THE CROWED THAT THESE ARE AUTHENTICLY STELL AND VERY SHARP he then takes one spike out of the container and throws it completely through a target standing right by the iron maiden NOW THIS IS OUT THE WAY THIS IRON MAIDEIN IS SPECIAL I HAVE TO INSERT THE SPIKES ITS SMOOTH INSIDE I INSERT THEM INTO THESE SLOTS HERE drops voice to almost a whisper the crowd strains to hear holding there breath anxious to hear more  now I will not take volunteers for this one our very own ring master is the victim for this one I walk slowly to add effect giving weight to each step each clack of my hard leather boots on the stage floor and slowly take off my coat and hand it to Wolfgang and he hangs it on a nail in the post to the right of him sdn I climb inside and slowly close my eyes as the heavy iron lid closes above me

iv long since stooped working on this should i even salvage this story line?

You should, it's coming along nicly. Just take a break think it through more try to continue going. Focus is the hardest part of writing a story or book. Maybe run this through a spell check, that's my only suggestion.
