Elements

I am Fire, Air, Water and earth

I am the setting sun,

on a summer night.

A semblance of comfort,

a gentle breeze.

Call me FIRE,

 

for I burn the past

I am

the wind,

cloaked invisible,

quietly drifting

,

searching.

Call me AIR,

I circulate the present.

I am the waves,

infuse with salt.

The spiraling sea

rippling, scurrying, crashing.

Call me WATER.

I rinse away sorrow.

I

 am terrestrial,

womb of the living,

man’s aspiration.

A promise to the children.

Call me EARTH.

I am the future.
