I love you

Blinking on the computer screen

It’s funny typing them back

Considering I’ve forgotten what those words mean

 

An empty existence maybe

To fill the black space in between

A bridge building across an ocean

Meant to reach halfway to me

 

Not sure if I want to reach back

Put myself into hands I don’t truly trust

Is it wrong to admit that I’m afraid?

To be controlled by the strings of lust

 

My emotions can’t be the same

When I’m not even sure what to feel

Let us forget about tonight

And pretend it was never real

 

Light the torches with our animalistic desires

Spread the gasoline all around

Go onto parallel sides of the ocean

And burn this bridge to the ground
