Burden

Burden

A Poem by Panda
"

._. yea XD

"
Staring at an empty space
That used to be filled before
I don't feel any regret at all
About not caring anymore

The puzzle pieces didn't fit
No need to try again
Push it to the back of my mind
I want this emotional chaos to end

Scream in joy for the end
Pile the wood higher
Smile as I strike the match
And set it ablaze with fire

The stones in this house of unease
Are being torn down by my hand
This ending feels right
So there's no need to understand

I grew tired of walking on eggshells
Of carrying this burden alone
And when the wind finally settles
We'll see we have separate paths of our own
