Connected Realities At The Heart

Connected Realities At The Heart

A Poem by Panda
"

First one I'm actually proud of in a looong time :)

"

This smile…

Is it sincere or just an automatic reaction

Simply another glass mask hung up on the walls

Of my hearts haunted mansion

With water flowing down the stairs

And blood dripping from the ceiling

A house more silent then air

But filled with uncontrolled screaming

A mirror hangs on the wall in the attic

Showing another world’s reality

There stands a fading girl

Waiting for the open sky to become a falling sea

A raindrop hit the mirror

And suddenly, a waterfall comes rushing in

Washing away the cobwebs, blood and dirt

Cleansing the houses walls shivering skin

The barricaded front door finally breaks

And the water goes flooding outside

Sinking into the frozen ground

And bringing back to life what has died

The clouds start to move and the sun peeks through

And its light stretches on for miles

Radiating warmth she had forgotten about

And once again, she smiles…
