Believe In Me

I haven't written a poem in awhile and lately I've been losing my inspiration, but luckily, a singer came to our school and filled my cup of happiness again :) hope you enjoy.

Everything’s is slipping through my fingers

And there's nothing I can do to make it stop

There’s a fountain of happiness but I can’t reach the bottom

When my failures are thicker then mud at the top

 

Where do the things I once loved go

They vanish right before my eyes

Friends I held so closely

Stay only to say goodbye

 

I search your eyes for help

But I'm too scared to make a sound

Will you notice me

And try to pick me up off the ground

 

The walls around my heart are silence

Can you find your way through its empty space

Can you help me find hope for the future

And let go of the pain I'm scared to face

 

Will you reach your hand to mine

And believe in things you can't see

And for the first time in my life

Will you be the person to believe in me
