From The Heart

i decided to write this after a friend wrote me a poem which made me think of everyone i knew and how they helped me become the girl i am today :)

This one goes out

To all the people I know

For those who stuck with me

Through high times and low

 

Never would I have thought

I was surrounded with so much love

You guys have always helped me get by

Have always shown patience I’m unworthy of

 

Whenever I was in the dark

You’d shine a light down on me

And you were the life preserver

When I was drowning in an emotional sea

 

I never thought I’d meet friends

Who were like a real family

Friends that help work through the knots

Friends whom I’d die for gladly

 

I have so much to thank you for

Hell, I don’t even know where to start

But you’d better believe me when I say

That this is coming from the heart
