i haven't written any poems lately so this may not be that good. tell me what you think :)

When you’re searching in the dark

And the walls are crumbling around you

And you have no clue what to do

Close your eyes and pretend you’re somewhere else

When you’re staring at the light

And it begins to feel like you’re going to burn

Like when you’ve just found something good and then the tables turn

Close your eyes and pretend you’re somewhere else

When you’re standing in a crowd

And the noise is too much to take

When it feels like the glass around you is going to break

Close your eyes and pretend you’re somewhere else

When you’re standing all alone

And there’s no one to take your hand

And things never go as planned

When you’re feeling lost

Like you can’t fill your lungs with air

And you’re dying by the loneliness because no one is there
