House is Not a Home

House is Not a Home

A Poem by Panda
"

:P read and enjoy?

"
Have you ever felt like
Pushing your loved ones away
Because they aggravate you so much
To the point where there is nothing left to say

Can you stand the shouting
The constant slamming doors
Hearing the television turn up louder
Seeing the invisible blood on the floors

Do you tune them out
By putting those headphones to your ears
Blaring the music to the max
To drown out the anger built over the years

Do you miss those happy moments
In your memories or that are seen on a tape
Do you count down the days
Until you can finally escape

Do you join the chorus when it starts up again
Or are you as quiet as a mouse?
And does it ever feel like
Your family are just different people living in the same house
