Shredded paper
Dying roses
Broken camera
So much for poses

Tipped over chairs
Bitter champagne
Staggering figures
And lipstick stains

Knotted cherry stems
The smell of cheap perfume
Looking glamorous
The party’s in full bloom

The smell of sweat and lust
Swirl in the summer air
Tangled bodies
And messy hair

Oh such fun
Until the cops came
Ended up arrested
And you only have you to blame
