On My Own

On My Own

A Poem by Panda

I hate

Having to plaster on a fake smile

And shove my feelings back down my throat

I can’t stand

Having to fall apart and pick myself back up

On my own

I’m not strong

I do have my vulnerabilities

Just like you

But when have I

Ever pushed you away

Because I wasn’t in the mood

To be your support

So f**k you

I don’t need you pretending you care

When you don’t

I’ll handle my problems

On my own from now on

Thank you
