Darling please don’t cry

A fool like me doesn’t deserve your tears

My smile may be warm but my heart has frozen

From the pain from passing years

 

Don’t be afraid of who you are

You’ll only get acceptance from me

Though I am a siren with a demonic voice

I don’t want you to be another unfortunate sailor drowning in my sea

 

I’d never want to hurt a fallen angel

But I fear the future coming our way

Our skies may be a beautiful blue now

But soon I’m sure they’ll turn grey

 

You are no monster my love

I will not hide from you

I refuse to severe the ties we’ve made

Because that’s not what friends do

 

I may not always tell you the complete truth

But I swear to never tell you lies

So if you’re not afraid to believe in me

Remain my angel in disguise
