What my eyes rememberA Poem by Orlando MurciaI sit quietly
as my eyes begin to think
of what they remember most about you
They see your face that embarrasses the sun
for the sun knows he may never be as radiant as you
They see the smile that makes stars take a peek
before night takes a meteor shower
They see your eyelashes fall like rain
then ascend like morning as if gone with the wind
They see your hair that reminds them of gold plated fields
being swayed by the air knocked out of my being
I lose my breath
Now you know how air is made
and why it always blows your way
It follows you like the jealous sun
While your eyes
Damn!
Your eyes are beautiful
Your eyes my love
are like two love birds
that cannot be without each other
Your eyebrows are the rainbows
of your perfect shape sculpture
They are like Michelangelo's work of art
that were engraved on your head
Your nose like Pharaohs masterpiece
buried beneath Egypt's moon
My goddess of unspoken tongue
the siren beauty song that sung
