These thoughts, these words.
Your greed, my pain.

I can't stand to think,
I can't bear to f*****g feel
Anything that I do
Just leads me back to you

Do you care to lend an ear,
Do you want to even hear
Me when I tell you
That I love you

Or was it just that I wasn't enough

These thoughts, these words.
Your greed, my pain.
Say goodbye to my fake smile
Consuming all you left on me
Say hello, this could take a while
To scream away, noones listening

Your face pulls out those angel tears
You can tell me
That you're so sorry
But how can I trust a bleeding soul

Tortured because of you
I can see it in your eyes
While your tears fall from regret
And my only need is why

Was she that much better or was I just a failure
Cause baby, if you can't live without me, why're you not dead.

These thoughts, these words.
Your greed, my pain.
I cause, all this s**t
Or so it seems when it comes down to it
But where would this have come from
If you hadn't broken me

Can I just say these few things
My only wish was for you to fly
My only need was your sweet mind
My only curse was my broken trust
And all of that was rubbed away when you sustained your lies

These thoughts, these words.

These hearts, this war.
Your smiles, my cause.
You were all I ever wanted
All I ever will
But baby don't tell me you're sorry
When its happened all before

Who taught you it was right to break a girl's heart.

Everyone should ask themselves that...'Who taught you it was right to break a girl's heart?' i mean really. Who did teach them to break a heart? It's cruel and mean. And I love the poem, sad and meaningful.
