Dark Meets Blue

Dark Meets Blue

A Poem by Sidonna

When the dark meets the blue
Your sun rays burst through
Take me to a higher place
The sweetness of salvation I can taste
Its hard to see with blind eyes
Its hard to love with these white lies
Lift away the veil of confusion
We are living in a land of delusion
Desecrate my soul no more
The hate eats away at my core
Living among the walking dead
With the shadows dancing in my head
How can I see the radiant light
All I see is dark, not the blue
How can I trust this feeling
When all I see is you

I got two different feelings from this piece. At first, it felt as if this was an epithany. You have somethign within yourself but then when you come to the last four lines it takes a feeling of despare...as if you are not happy with your current situation. It feels like a small cry for help.

Don't get me wrong, I could be way off...been known to happen.
