Smoke and Mirrors

Smoke and Mirrors

A Poem by Sidonna

These Smoke and mirrors you build around you

Who are you today?

Bite your tongue to keep the truth

Hiding behind your faceless mask

Losing yourself so fast

Who are you today?

Stroking the ego

The further we go

Lost your identity/The great American Tragedy

Who are we today?

Smoke and Mirrors

Facts or Fears

The glamor of lies

Change the way you feel

Is harder to do

When you have lost you

Your words are correct. The smoke and Mirrors can twist us up. We can be confused by so many lies and stories. The truth can't be found. A excellent poem.
