Tale of the treeA Poem by SidIts my observation for a tree
It takes so long for a tree to grow So many years of pushing the sky Long branches stretch their arms Reach out with their wooden fingers Blooming the flowers, enchanting the sky
Years drift by, fall like leaves
From green to yellow then back to green
There’s been an elm outside our ebode
It’s shadow long across our glade
Soothing the summers, cooling the air
When the wind passes by,
Standing tall shinning high
It’s a Exquisite gift given by thy © 2008 SidAuthor's Note
