vanquishing wailsA Poem by siddarthConquering that guilt and initial apprehensiveness, You do it. You either do it slow or very fast.
At the first go, you thank yourself for not trying it before. Your unexplainable joy that this horrid taste was not in your addiction list before relaxes you. The repelling taste becomes your comforting best friend.
All this while, it does something to your body, mind (and soul?) You wonder, "Why is there bokeh effect in my life so suddenly?" You wonder, "I can walk. Why are my friends helping me walk?" You wonder," What is this sudden urge to dance and scream?" Your eyes deceive you..
Bokeh intesifies. You gradually become blind. You'll have to squint to make out the outlines of objects, people and more people.
You get an amazing strength to ignore things.
More bokeh. Vague sounds engulf your head. All this while, you are walking. You are doing things. People are laughing? You are still walking. On the road? In a mall? You are in a washroom?
Water splash on your face. Water hurts you. You are in pain. Someone's pushing needles through your face. Are you that someone? Wait. They are not needles. Its water.
You see laughter. You can feel laughter? Laughter has a tangible form? Bokeh decreases.
You finally talk. You walk. You smile. You've accomplished. You regret.
Guilt follows? You continue smiling. Happy confused life thereafter. :)
