Riding The Waves

Riding The Waves

A Poem by Siddhartha

And that day when I first saw you

Standing by the crowd, yet away from it

As our eyes met, mine following yours

Faraway someplace there were snowflakes

Somewhere else fire thawed, as winds blew

In a rapture of harmony and affection

And that moment unlike any other

Engraved itself in the heart of time

The clocks chiming as faraway seas roared

.

.

.

And we intoxicated by our own naivety

Kept on losing ourselves in each other

Believing the world knew nothing of it

Sometimes there's a moment... negating all other moments, yet tying them together...
