Wanderlust

Wanderlust

A Poem by Siddhartha

Westward wind in the air

Lost in the seas without a care

The lure of the horizon leads us

Like love wafting from prayers

Beyond the seas lies the hope

Of new land, new faces

A chance to relive our lives

The allure of fresh promises

No regrets, no comebacks

Life’s too short to have either

No homes, no countries

No fences, nor borders neither

Time’s too less to ever fully live

So let not a moment be foregone

And with only one life to spare

Live it up like a rolling stone
