A Love Song

A Love Song

A Poem by Siddhartha

All the people I have met

All the things I have done

All the memories I have kept

All the roads I’ve walked upon

All of them lead to you

For you’ve always been...

Beautiful, I like the power I feel in the last 3 lines, thanks.

I absolutely loved this. I read the title and expected a cliche, convoluted piece. But instead I found this -- refreshing, concise, creative, and original. A joy to read.

You've breathed a voice on the winds of love's miracle... that one person who completes and fulfills you like no other could. May we all find that one for us...

If you wanted to make your first four lines ryme and scantightly you might try:
"All the people I have met/All the things that I have done/ All the memories I've kept/All the roads I've walked upon."
But your poem is fine and graceful as it is...

Not particularly original, but then love poems rarely are.
A satisfying write.

Soft and gentle like a summer rain that leaves a beautiful rainbow .. All those people and roads lead to love. I really like the title you chose and the poem is like a love song.
