And Therefore It IsA Poem by SiddharthaAnd thus verily I
shall play my part Drenched by the shy
breaths from your lips Feels like silk, the
gentleness of your hug While wildly flutters
your red scarf Oh, the winds, how
they caress and depart While the rain clings,
like pearls on your hair And therefore I shall
merely stand guard Shielding you jealously
from all mortal glare So lost in your eyes,
as they send sparks of love And your fingers, as
they ever so gently touch There’d be no greater
bliss in the heavens above Of this even the angels would themselves vouch And so I hold onto
your scarf, as it flaps in the air Kissing you again, as gently blows your hair While you hold me tightly, lest I get lost Lost in the arms of
the girl I so love © 2012 SiddharthaAuthor's Note
