MadnessA Poem by SiddharthaMadness is like
gravity, it keeps sinking in Loaded with lead, it
keeps pinching in The more you duck, the more it consumes you The more you move
away, the more is it glued Madness is like wind,
it spreads as wildfires do Suffused with
insanity, it radiates warmth too In a world of
mediocrity, it is strangely tempting And for a weary poet,
it’s temptingly comforting Madness is like love,
it never loses hope It keeps on seducing, exhorting you to elope Societal conventions,
it doesn’t give a damn Led by its insanity,
it feels no shame Madness is like wine, it
makes you a drunk The senses desert, the
body becomes numb While the eyes, they
take in all the details And the mind, past this mortal world, it sails © 2012 SiddharthaFeatured Review
