Cosmic Interludes

Cosmic Interludes

A Poem by Siddhartha

Millions of stars twinkling in the sky

Streak their shadows in the pristine river

And the zephyr singing a sweet lullaby

Makes tender heart give a nervous flutter

Oh, the stars how they dance on the sly

Making dreams alive in his love-stained mind

And the white fairy with the arrow in her hand

Connects souls destined to be intertwined

The blue eyed sky smiling in the distance

Has innumerable plans up in his sleeve

One is for dreams and one for love

One for joy and one for grief

Thus walking alone in a misty evening

The truth of the world dawned in his heart

That there are no endings but only beginnings

For every end is but the beginning of a new start
