Tell A Hazel TaleA Poem by SiddharthaA pair of hazel eyes in a vista of green
Make the mirror crack in sweet delight How they encompass the world within And light his eyes with their sight A pair of hazel eyes in a sea of blue Make tortured heart bleed red in pain And the rain which pours in romance Can scarcely make first love sane A pair of hazel eyes flit about the room Entrancing all but resting on none And yet they enliven the heart within Which it seems, has a life of its own A pair of hazel eyes in a universe of verse Make life's little sorrows endurable And should it be, that they rest upon him It shall be the start of yet another fable © 2011 SiddharthaReviews
