Cold Heart Blues

Tremulous heart bids a final goodbye

Electric rage evokes subterranean desire

Glazed eyelids resonate eternal pain

Trembling hands silhouette crumbling hope

Fluttering eyelashes understate words unspoken

Shooting stars echo cosmic interludes

The quiet air hums a sad little tune

Fireflies light the graveyard of dreams

Leashed soul struggles out of its chains

Astral lights brighten darkened recesses

The moon sends sparks of selfless love

Tear rimmed clouds whisper undying hope

Lightning strikes the boulevard of despair

Breached heart makes a phoenix resurgence

Tricked soul prays for a better tomorrow

The cosmos conspires for true heart's calling

And so it goes...

Oh my God !! you've outdone yourself with this one..one can totally feel the desperation to break away and yet hold on..coz thats what being human is like..
