Meteorology

Meteorology

A Poem by Siddhartha

Drops
Flow in rivulets
Form a stream

Drops
Fall in drizzles
Make an ocean

Drops
Go up in air
In patterns unseen

Drops
Down my cheeks
End of a dream

Dropped
Down the skies
The sweetest dream

Dropped
On my arms
My eyes gleamed

Dropped
Her to death
Want a requiem

Dropped
Everything away
Can't be redeemed

Drop
Drip
Trip

I like how the drop expanded to dropped - like that rain drop that grows as it falls before the - drip - trip - splash - the repetition is executed very well here - it mimics the sound of the rain drop too - almost counting the beat drop.... drop... drop - very clever write - though would we expect any less! nice!

Everything about your write calls to that deeper place in the world.. in the mind.. landscapes and rivers on mindscapes.. The rain falls across the earth.. drops of experiences shadow the soul as well.. Profoundly moving.

Such a beautifully written poem that starts out impersonal and ends up personal.. starts out in nature and ends with the nature of being human.. lovely write!
